Today we had a brutal headwind. Headwinds are really frustrating. My average speed today was 24. It sucks when it takes just as much work to pedal at 24km an hour as it does the day before to go 32. Thats it for today, there isnt much to say about endless fields of corn and soy beans.
Comments on the blog are greatly appreciated because then i atleast know im not writing to myself. Also prayers are appreciated as this week and next have been and will be a pretty big mental challenge.
thanks alot.

Bradley,
I've been following your blog mainly because it's listed that you're from Georgetown, Ontario which is where I first began my teaching career about 33 years ago at GDCS. I'm now in the Chicago area and am looking forward to the time later this month when the group comes through this area. Prayers are offered each day for all you riders, but you will be remembered especially in the next while. Hope the winds are behind you tomorrow and that you have a restful Sunday.
hey Bradley! wow, those stretches of cornfields were boring in a car, can't imagine biking them. say hi to Justin again, and I will remember to mention the headwinds in the prayer requests!
have a good Sunday off!

Brad -
there's something about the biking world that lends itself to a little shall we say - "exaggeration". Like, "it's all downhill from here". Ya, I bet it is...
Anyway - glad to hear you are hanging in there and looking forward to seeing you again in GR.
Be well, be blessed -
Jo
dear Bradley,
I promised I would comment.
'cause I have, in fact, read every single post on here, so far.
(my account refused to sign in previously, but that's no excuse)
I can understand the benefit of a tailwind, cause even though I'm not hardcore like you, I bike to work and around burlie a bit.
I'll definately be praying for you and your group!
Hey Kiddo...!
I can only imagine how painful tailwinds in the boring prairies would be. I took a bus from regina to calgary - prairies, and more prairies, and it was extremely boring !!! But I didn't have to pedal through it! I was thinking about you tons - praying for strength and some kinda fun in the midst of the rather similar surroundings.
Yesterday we went whitewater rafting through a connection Wilson set us up with in Montana. It was a blast. I totally told Nicole that you would have been incredible to be rafting with - cause you would have been screaming and pumping up the excitement even when it was flat water. Next time!
Love you. Your sista...!
yes rachel tailwinds are a sweet benefit especialy if its a good wind.
Krista your wording makes your comment look really funny. "I can only imagine how painful tailwinds in the boring prairies would be" nono tailwinds are wounderful its the headwinds that are terrible. Rafting sounds fun and yes i would probably be screaming even when the water was calm lol.
